I was born and raised in Norman, OK and I'm currently living in Sacramento, CA.
Since childhood, I was always known to be artistic. My artwork has evolved from drawing stick figures at four years old to creating surrealistic paintings for art shows. I just love being creative. No matter where I'm at in life, art will always be a major part of who I am. In 2004 I started my television broadcast training at Rose State College in Midwest City, OK. During my training, I picked up on non-linear editing fairly quick. I eventually bought my own copy of Avid Xpress Pro so I could practice editing at home. This led me to dabble in film production during my spare time. I often collaborated with film students on multiple class projects. This continued until 2007 when I got my first television job at KFOR News in Oklahoma City. While I attempted to balance work and school, I decided to pursue screen acting as well. In 2008, I started taking classes at The Actor Factory in Norman, OK. I was fortunate to land roles in a few commercials and independent films. The experience I had as an actor gave me the opportunity to learn so much more about film production from a new perspective. Around 2010, I decided to try standup comedy to help advance my acting career. It didn't take long for me to fall in love with standup, thus pursuing comedy over acting. As a comedian, I won 2nd place at the 2012 Oklahoma City Comedy Competition and made an appearance on the Rise and Shine Morning Show in character as a super villain. In 2014, I sold almost everything I had in my tiny apartment and moved to the Bay Area to live with my girlfriend (who is now my beautiful wife). After getting a job at ABC 10, we moved to Sacramento, where I'm continuing my career as a Multimedia Specialist and an Artist. CONTACT: [email protected] |
